Description Furse Papers - group of papers,29 Oct 1918-3 Jul 1919, including: correspondence between Katharine Furse, Director WRNS,and various correspondents (see printed list for more details); memoranda; petition signed by WRNS members; and notes. All re: the demobilisation of the WRNS, their subsequent resettlement/ re-employment, a proposal for a Women War Workers' Reserve, and a proposal for a general training scheme for representatives of the Women's Services. Documents include: notes, 'Handling over of WRNS Personnel to WRAF', 29 Oct 1918; report, 'Domestic Training Scheme for Women' by Deputy Principal Sye, 1919; and leaflet, 'Women's Royal Air Force', re: the voluntary transfer of officers and members of the WRNS, WAAC and Women's Legion Motor Drivers to the WRAF, 1918.
