Object ID PAD2250
Description Vignette. An unusual view of Greenwich in the 1830s or 1840s, concentrating on the area that was to become Greenwich Pier, rather than on the Royal Seamen's Hospital. A paddle steamer is pulling in; before long, Greenwich would become an important terminus for London's steamer services.
