| Description | A square glass plate negative of Transit of Venus taken at Honolulu in 1874 with one exposure of the planet Venus crossing the Sun's limb. Three paper labels are stuck onto the glass in three of the corners, giving details of the photograph and the date. Guidelines are scratched across the Sun's disc. The plate is currently stored in a black cardboard box. |
