Description phototransparency. Glass positive photographic plate showing the eclipse of the Sun 1919, showing a great prominence. Rectangular negative enhanced with a card mount with a circular opening. Paper label stuck onto glass negative gives details of photograph. Scratch on negative partly covered by blue ink. Stored in a large cardboard box.
