Description Glass bottle labelled ‘Hydrarg. Nit. Oxyd’. Label missing. A mercury compound, most likely mercury potassium oxide. This is only mentioned in the the London medical and surgical journal: vol iv, 1834, p. 831, as an unsuccessful lotion for a skin disease.
