|Description||An Australian aboriginal digging stick. It has pointed ends, roughened at one end and thicker at the other. Collected by Sir John Franklin or his wife Jane, while he was governor of Van Diemens Land (Tasmania). Listed in an 1855 inventory of his possessions.|
