Description Cannon ball. HMS NANKIN was a 4th rate ship launched at Woolwich in 1850. She took part in the Second China War 1857-60. The death of the unamed boy is recorded in Laird Clowes's History of the Royal Navy Volume VII. HMS NANKIN later became a receiving ship and was broken up in 1905.
