Obverse: A group of Pilgrims (left) on shore surrounded by their baggage, in attitudes of prayer and thanksgiving, the sea and the 'Mayflower' with sails furled in the background. Reverse: A scroll supported left by a female figure (America) and right by Britannia jointly holding a circular wreath above. Legend: '1620 1970 MAYFLOWER'.
